Dorian Roohi was born in Iran and moved to America in 1999. She is passionate about planning events and seeing them come to fruition.
Dorian discovered her passion for planning events as a high school student, serving in several organizations (Best Buddies, Golf Team, Student Body Leadership), where she was responsible for planning fundraising and recruitment events, as well as banquets. She later interned at Best Buddies International and assisted in planning one of their flagship events – Leadership Conference – in 2006.
She continued her education at University of California, Los Angeles, earning her degree in Political Science, with a minor in Education. Following her graduation in 2009, Dorian worked as the aquatics coordinator at the Westside Family YMCA, where, under the supervision of the aquatics director, she scheduled and planned swim lessons, and helped to manage the day-to-day operations of the Aquatics Department. In 2009, she was promoted to Director of Teen Programs, which expanded her duties to include: planning and coordinating logistics for Youth and Government programs, including trips throughout California and banquet events; planning character-building events for tweens and teens; and planning caravans and college visits.
She is currently serving as a high-caliber, part-time, virtual executive assistant to many different executives along the west coast, planning the executives day-to-day life, trips, and business occasions.
For the past 11 years, she has also participated in a training and development program at Landmark Worldwide as a Course Supervisor, coordinating logistics of events and managing customer concerns and experiences.
Using her previous experience as a foundation, Dorian is excited to create the events you envision.
